ORBIS UNIO

CASE STUDY

Recognition: NASAD EXHIBITION UTA

Orbis Unio is a language-learning application concept designed around a simple goal: making the process of learning a new language clear, intuitive, and easy to navigate. The project began with extensive user research, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to identify the target audience and understand their expectations. The research phase became the foundation for developing the application's user experience and defining the key stages of the learning journey. The UX process includes a persona, empathy map, journey map, storyboard, and user flow, providing a detailed overview of how users interact with the product. From onboarding to language selection and learning, the experience is structured around clear navigation and straightforward interactions. The visual identity supports the educational nature of the product through a combination of dark blue and nude tones, complemented by an owl-inspired visual representing wisdom and knowledge. Together, the research, UX documentation, navigation system, and visual direction form a complete case study demonstrating the development of a thoughtful and user-focused language-learning experience.
